Tushbhander’s Jaminder and Rajbaree

Muraree Dev Goshai Bhattacharjee came Cooch Behar in 1634 AD. He started rehabilitation in a taluk gifted from Cooch Behar’s Queen by Upanchawki system. He started here worshiping of Rashik Ray Bighorn. But Brahman Muraree dev denied to accept gift from Shuddra Cooch King and as a result Moharani agreed to accept Tush empire of Tax. The Tush was placed as stuck in from of Jaminder house. Tush was sent to Cooch Behar Rajbaree. Tush Bhander was the named by this way in the name of Jaminders. Ramoni Mohan Ray Chowdhuary the 9th man of Jaminder. A new area of development of Tush Bhander was started from 9th man of Jaminder Ramoni Mohan Ray Chowdhuary. He built many roads, big ponds, and temple as well as did welfare activities. This regime ruler ruled for four hundred years. There are no sign of old Jaminders except the sign of same divested marks.
